Sundays Best : First Sunday!
Barbara
reigned as Queen of Mixed Prints today. Her custom multi-patterned
skirt was custom made in Ghana. (I'm still mad jealous.) "The
quilt-like designs and geometrical patterns complement each other so
well." - which I know influenced her choice of accessory. Her triangle
shaped necklace almost points to her skirt. Worn with a
black top and black Mary Jane platforms she consciously made sure the
skirt was the center of attention.
A Touch Of Velvet!
Radley sure
knows how to layer! With a gray woven as a base, he wore a sweater on
top and finished it off with a burgundy velvet blazer. I thought the
handkerchief matching the sweater was a nice touch. His baroque
patterned bow tie sits well on top of his woven, blending in with his
blazer and sweater.
Old Sport!
With jacket and matching pant, layered with a brick red cardigan and
plaid patterned woven, Ricardo pulls off the young "J.Gatsby" look
really nicely. The bicycle patterned bow tie was also a great use of
playful detail along with the brick red stripe in his top hat.
Perfectly Pleated
Stacy's dress worked perfectly with the "lovely" weather we're
having. Her Winter White dress (H&M) with a leather stripe and
pleats added a simple touch of femininity to the classic black and white outfit. I loved how the buttons of her blazer fell in the same area
of the leather stripe. Very appealing on the eyes.

Plaid & Textures
Plaid & Textures
I
absolutely LOVE quiet details. (ie. Details you cant locate at first
glance) That's why I really like this check printed blouse by Kasper &
Company (thrifted). Paired with a corduroy mini (H&M) and pointed
toe pumps (Forever 21), I think I did a pretty good job for First
Sunday.
