Birthday Blessings

Ever since I was a child no matter what day my birthday fell on, I had to dress up extra special for church the following Sunday. In my adult life, that still hasn't changed. The weather in New York City this weekend was absolutely beautiful. I'm so glad I was able to pull out this off-the-shoulder dress without worrying about the cold. Of course I had a sweater because bare shoulders and back are not okay in the Haitian church, but I continued with my regularly scheduled slayage after the service.
