Outfit Of The Day: Memorial Day!
Memorial Day Weekend was really chill this year. While many were away, I stayed in Brooklyn and hosted a BBQ with my Youth Group. What made this Memorial Day so amazing was that it was 87 degrees! The Summertime that we'd been praying for had finally appeared and I was ready! The toes came out, the twist out behaved and I was ready to catch some color!
I loved my Memorial Day fit because it was super comfy and appropriate. People have a bad habit of hearing 90 degrees and think its okay to roam the streets half naked! I decided not to wear denim because I wanted to be as cool as possible. (the breeze had to hit all the right places!) So I opted with a 2 piece printed set. It was absolutely perfect because at first glance it can pass for a romper but because they're separates I can get more wears out of both the tank* and short. Another plus was that I got both for under $30! My greatest accomplishment of the day was that I wore this straw hat! I've always been unlucky when it came to hats fitting on top of my untwisted hair, but this baby was my good luck charm! I mentioned this hat in my WTWW post about Vegas and it finally made its debut! I received so many compliments and it was a great accessory that played well with the rest of the ensemble - which can all be found at H&M, including the gladiator sandals. My sunnies were bought from a Union Square street vendor.
I hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day weekend!
With love,
Evelyn
*This tank is no longer available online but its definitely in every H&M.
