Outfit Of the Day

Hi guys! It's Valentine's Week! Even though Valentine's Day is this Friday, I wanted to treat my Valentine to a Sunday Brunch. Ever since I was young I've always been really corny and wore red around Valentine's Day...20 years old and I'm still corny!

The only thing I hate about about Valentine's Day is that it's in February. The coldest month of the year in NYC! So its really hard for me to get "sexy on em" when my knees are buckling and teeth are chattering (I couldn't even get one smiling shot!)! And when you're looking for inspiration, the outfits are back-less, mini, cut out, high-slit, or all of the above. Some girls can do it in 20 degree weather, but not this girl.
I kept warm (for the most part) with a camel-colored pea coat from Gap, a safari-printed blouse from Zara, and red "Ultra Skinny" slacks also from Gap. Worn with my favorite black "Deeny" platforms from Steve Madden along with a black faux-leather tote from H&M. I think my feather earring was a nice touch too, I got that from Forever21.

I wore "Nude" from the "Rih Hearts MAC" Collection by MAC Cosmetics on my lips to keep it simple. But you can easily turn this day-time outfit to night with a dramatic lip color and perfect matching clutch instead of a large tote like mine.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Love,
Evelyn
